AJR Civil and Marine Limited have extensive experience in providing groundworks and civil engineering services across the country and since becoming established in 2016, AJR have worked in partnership with Local Authorities, Parish Councils, Utility companies and have won the tender for many developmental projects with Marina’s across the south coast. AJR regularly work in partnership with Premier Marina’s and have been heavily involved in the re-generation project of Noss on Dart Marina in Dartmouth, Devon.

To meet with the demands of these projects, AJR have grown their fleet and today have an array of top-quality plant machinery and vehicles and have developed an exceptional team of experienced ground workers and civil engineers who, together with their skills and knowledge are supporting the development of various south coast Marina’s from the ground up.

Civil Engineering Services

Our civil engineering work is intrinsically linked to the knowledge of structures, materials, mechanics, soils, the environment and project management. Working closely with architects, surveyors and building inspectors, under contractual and environmental law, whilst always working in line with our Health and Safety Policy, AJR plans and provides services in the excavation of land for extensive irrigation and drainage work, groundworks, the development of new road construction, foundations for buildings, under-pinning, services for telecommunications, gas and electricity, drilling and boring projects and Marina re-development programmes.

Due to our flexibility and ‘can do’ attitude we have many clients returning with future projects as they know we ‘just get the job done’ but without compromising on excellent standard.

The company, originally trading as R&R Farm Contractors (Robbie Brother’s) was founded in Fair Oak, Hampshire in 1965, provided agricultural contracting to farms in Hampshire and the surrounding counties. R&R slowly moved away from farming and into civil engineering services for commercial and domestic clients throughout the UK
